Human Rights Committee
Fair Trial Standards
The ECBA Human Rights Committee champions judicial independence and procedural fairness in criminal proceedings throughout Europe.
We analyze cases where due process has been compromised, document violations of fair trial rights under the European Convention on Human Rights, and advocate for reforms to strengthen judicial systems against political interference, with special attention to military courts and ECtHR jurisprudence.
